We sure do have some park plans that you might find helpful. You can find those here. We will be at Disneyland next weeks, February 3rd-the 8th. We are super excited and want to thank you for all of your great advice! I just went on a few websites and noticed most hotels, including all the Disney resorts are booked. Is there something big going on those days?
Super nervous about big crowds! Our crowd calendars show that things should still be manageable in terms of crowds at Disneyland next week. The hotel availability may just be because it's close to trip time! We are showing lots of rooms still available in Anaheim on our site.
Have a frogtastic trip! I will be 32 weeks pregnant and am pretty slow right now, haha. We plan on visiting last week of March , during spring break. We noticed most LA schools have spring breaks in April. Does this mean the crowds may be smaller? Hoppy to do so! March is still during "spring break season" throughout the country, and Easter falls towards the end of the month as well, so crowds may still be elevated during that time. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is expected to open in late June, though an exact opening date hasn't been released just yet.
Lots of froggy fans will be hopping in to see it! Originally had May 11th booked and then we heard it was Grad Night and her some pretty horrific stories about crowds of rude teenagers and very crowded. Can you tell me what the crowds have been in the past years. I also hear that Disneyland is not supporting Bat Day this year and that there will be no hotel discounts and no special events in the park - do you think that will make a difference to the crowds.
I have not changed our flights yet to arrive on the 4th and leave on the 11th can you reply asap. Thank you. The way Grad Nite works is that schools take seniors to Disneyland. Some schools are in the parks throughout the day and then at about 10 p. June 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, and Goth Day should not affect crowds too badly. We are planning a trip in the summer of We are driving out from Illinois to enjoy the scenery along the way so we will have flexibility. Although we don't know yet when Star Wars land will open, it's more likely to be open by the first or second of August.
The Deluxe Annual passholder blockouts for Disneyland Park begin June 21, which is a strong indicator.
Travelling to Disneyland® Paris
So it really depends on whether that is something you want a good shot of experiencing or whether you'd rather avoid it. I'm going one last time before Star Wars land opens. Walt would roll in his grave if he knew that booze was going to be introduced in his "family park," and a "war" franchise inserted into the park. I've spoke to many of the "cast members" and quite a few are "retiring" rather than deal with the chaos that will ensue when the new "land" opens.
What the Disney Corporation should have done was to configure Cali Adventure for the various movie franchises. It woudn't have been as jarring.
We'd recommend early June in terms of crowd levels, as the opening of Galaxy's Edge is sure to bring a ton of fans hopping in! When are you going to update your crowd calendar for the week after Easter? This is the only crowd calendar that isn't showing elevated crowds this week. Based on reading that early Feb.
Talked to a cast member last night about one of our reservations and he said it will be very busy and all 3 Disney park hotels are full. Do you know why the park will be so busy? I know Chinese New Year celebrates to March and there are ride closures during that time. Even read elsewhere that Main Street is closed for repairs and no fireworks during the week. Also, do you have any tips for navigating the crowds with a 6yr and a 1. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
The Disneyland official hotels are almost always full, because there is just aren't enough rooms to keep up with demand. The park should not be too full during your actual dates. You may find this post helpful for navigating the parks with your tadpoles! We are driving 16 hours from Texas for a family reunion. Is it still worth it to try to go. We have three small kids under the age of four. While it'll be busy, we think there's always room to have a toadally frogtastic time at Disneyland.
Have you looked into MaxPass? That can definitely help you get a hop on the crowds for some of the busier attractions. Have a great time! Don't tell them the secret about April. It literally is perfect besides Christmas at Disneyland which is even more magical.

We are going to be in Disneyland May 16thth to watch my niece perform with her choir on the weekend. I didn't know about the grad nights.
Is it going to be crazy busy during that time? Does your crowd calendar take into account D23 August , ? Hi there Love your website super helpful information on it!
Planning on visiting Disneyland in September this year Originally thought around the 22nd but now might be at the beginning around the 6th. Have looked at your crowd calendar which advises should be a good time to go.
Just a bit concerned about it being potentially the start of Halloween season at Disney and would like your advice on timing with that in mind. Based on crowd levels , you should be OK. Get to the park at least a half hour before the park officially opens to regular guests. We go to WDW yearly and wanted to do something different. I looked the crowd predictor but was wondering if it were lighter on different days around that time.
Thanks for your help!!! We will be going Monday March 18th and didn't see that on the crowd calendar and was wondering how busy it might be. We went this year on New Years Day and had a great time. Hit rope drop people were sleeping in from the night before and crowds were quite low in the morning. They were not bad the rest of the day either.
Going to see my daughter at Disneyland. She works there. Planned September 9? I hope I have time with her since stars wars will be up. Thought about changing it to early spring??? We have booked a short trip for the first week of July because we will already be in the area. I booked airfare yesterday and have until 8pm tonight to cancel It's a tough call! The opening date has not yet been announced, so it's hard to definitively say at this point. Let us know what you decide. I love your Crowd Calendar!
I was surprised to see that MLK weekend will have only moderate crowds except that Monday.
